Chi Kung – Meditation in Movement
I qualified as a teacher of chi kung in 2005, having trained with the College of Elemental Chi Kung. I did two further years of training with the college for my own personal benefit. I work with individuals teaching warm ups and simple forms chosen to be the most beneficial for that particular person..
Chi Kung improves posture, flexibility and balance. It involves the mind and breath in every movement, and after a while becomes effortless and very enjoyable.
If you have always wanted to try meditation but have found it daunting, chi kung is a very good way in. The slow forms get you into the ‘zone’, so that sitting quietly in tune with your body for 5 or 10 minutes at the end feels entirely natural.
