Cookies

Cookies are used on this website to make the site easier to use and to track the traffic patterns of visitors. We are operating an ‘implied consent’ policy which means that we assume you are happy with this usage. If you are not happy with this, then you should adjust your web browser settings to disallow cookies.

Confidentiality Statement

Confidentiality is very important to me.  Records of your treatments and what you have told me about your health history are stored in a locked cabinet to which I am the only person that has access and in a form that would make it difficult for anybody else to identify you.

I don’t ask questions unless they are relevant to assessing how to proceed with your treatment.  If you volunteer relevant information about anything other than your physical health, I will record it briefly in generalised terms.

In line with Health Service guidelines, I keep your treatment records for 8 years before shredding them.

Privacy

If you supply me with your email address, I will use it to send you directions or to answer any questions you may have before deciding on whether to come for a treatment.  Some clients prefer to communicate with me regarding appointments via email.  Access to my email is protected by strong passwords.  I am happy to delete your email if you ask me to.

Currently I have no plans to advertise by email, but if that were to change, I would ask for your express permission before adding you to any mailing list.

It is helpful for me to have your phone number just in case of unforeseen circumstances where it might be necessary to reschedule an appointment.  My phone is protected by a key code.  If you have completed a course of treatments, I will happily delete your number if you ask me to.  In any case, I do remove people from my contacts list if I have not heard from them for a year or so.
